The Rolling Coyotes will celebrate the release of their new CD, Carry On, with a concert November 9 at 8pm. The event will be held at Trinity Center, 4599 Shepherdstown Road (Route 45), midway between Shepherdstown and Martinsburg.
The group consists of Steve Warner on guitar, harmonica, and ukulele; Nancy Lynn on autoharp and percussion; Andy Mosholder on cello and bass; and Elliot Simon on piano and accordion. They feature tight harmonies and arrangements of song that inject emotion, meaningful messages and humor. Nearly all of the songs on Carry On were written by Warner, an award-winning writer with numerous credits and covers by other artists. He has released two previous CDs of self-penned material. More information on Warner and the Rolling Coyotes can be found at www.rollingcoyotes.com
Joining the Rolling Coyotes for the concert will be several talented musicians that appear on the recording: Don Oesher, guitar; Bob Martin, pedal steel; Jesse Shultzaberger on drums; Hannah Geffert on washboard and Rob Shaw on mandolin.
Admission to this show is by donation at the door. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Trinity Center is the property on the north side of Route 45, between 5 Spot 3 and Pump House East. The concert is in the white building, also known as Orchard House, that sets in a field about 300 yards off the road. The entrance is marked by yellow signs from either direction on Route 45.
Today I have been playing with my new mobile device. It is way cool. Look for more to come soon
